Robin Wood Robin Hood and a Beautiful bridge - 13 Dec 2007
Robin Wood has been crafting again with chainsaw and pole lathe. Rotherham Sawmill Forwarding - 24 May 2007
Steve Booler of Rotherham Sawmill (07831 645443) has purchased a small scale forwarder, (with grant funding from South Yorkshire Forest Partnership and the Forestry Resources Grant). The machinery is excellent for getting into tight spots and the low weight of the machinery means minimal ground disturbance.
Timber Frame Green house - 16 May 2007
Sheffield based 'from the woods' have developed a new timber frame greenhouse. The design was orginally aimed at creating a beautiful structure to fit into a Sheffield terrace garden, but the green house has attracted interest from people in larger properties.
Weston Park Bridge - 23 Feb 2007
Two working Woodlands business will be teaming up to create a new bridge for Weston Park in Sheffield. The bridge will be a timber frame construction and the design will closely follow the original.
Woodland Workshop - 23 Feb 2007
The Freeman college commisioned Hector and Cedric Ltd to create a woodland workshop and composting loo. These have now been created and are in the midst of ecclesall woods.
